Medical graduates who have completed the MBBS programme of the Faculty are eligible to apply for full membership

Associate member

The following categories are eligible to apply for the associate membership

a)       Any past student of the Faculty who completed at least phase II of the MBBS programme but is not a medical graduate of the faculty.

b)       Any permanent academic staff of the Faculty involved in teaching of MBBS programme for a minimum period of three years.

c)       Any medical officer or specialist who has contributed as extended academic staff to the faculty for a minimum period of five years.

Honorary member

Any person who is not eligible for full or associate membership but has rendered exceptional services to the faculty, Association and healthcare profession.

Admission to Membership

Full membership and Associate membership

An application should be made to the Association on the prescribed application form. Upon approval by the Executive Committee, the membership fee prescribed in the bylaws should be paid.

Honorary membership

Nomination by a full member of the Association, endorsed by the executive committee and approved at an Annual General Meeting of the Association.
